My second lithography print, initially drawn with liquid ink. This definitely did not turn out the way I had wanted, the plate version was way better. A lot of the details were lost in translation; I also didn’t really know which inks to use for the background so I ended up going too light.
Well my past couple of days have been a little overwhelming but I’m back with some goodies. I’m at work tonight (I work in the Art Department at my school-Ithaca College) and my lithography professor just so happened to leave one of the donated (and professional) lithographs out! So this piece is entitled “Flint’s Jungle” N/D. It’s by the Canadian artist Paul Fournier and its relatively large (30X37”). I apologize for the glare and bad angling of the photo, but I only have my macbook to take pictures.
