Hey tumblworld. So, I’m applying for the Chautauqua School of Art summer program in upstate New York. Thanks to Marielle Solan (a talented photographer and close family friend) I now have a beautiful online portfolio which I can slowly upload onto my tumblr. The painting above is a reproduction of Delacroix’s “Orphan at the Graveyard” that I painted last semester with acrlyic paint/palette knife.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I’ve been on spring break. With the week winding to a close, I’ve never felt more like running away from all my obligations. I’m not ready to go back. But then again, I don’t know if I ever will be again.
Anyway, I found this nice moleskine drawing of a pair of frye boots. If I could walk away with these on my feet then…

My second lithography print, initially drawn with liquid ink. This definitely did not turn out the way I had wanted, the plate version was way better. A lot of the details were lost in translation; I also didn’t really know which inks to use for the background so I ended up going too light.
